ABOUT US / WOODENBLACK FINGERBOARDS
Since 2008.
With the same spark.
We are Türkiye's first domestic fingerboard brand and workshop established as an official business. For six years, we have been making products with our own hands and sharing the excitement of skateboarding through fingerboard culture.
A workshop born from skateboarding
Our story began with skateboarding in 2008. The excitement that grew on the streets, in parks and among people who shared our passion continues in a new form at Woodenblack today. We set out to make and develop fingerboards in Türkiye and introduce them to more people. Woodenblack is a new venture sparked by our skateboarding roots, and the result of years of dedication.
For six years, we have grown this workshop through our own work. We have faced the pandemic, changing economic conditions and the challenges of sourcing materials and keeping production going. We did not start with ready-made capital; we built our own resources by making products and working. At every step, we strive to do the best we can with what we have and carry what we learn into the next product.
Our production goes beyond decks. Our own range also includes grip, wheels, trucks and component parts. Excluding bearings, our production is 99% local and handmade. Alongside this range, we also offer completes with Tech Deck running gear; the parts and package contents of each complete are listed separately on its product page.
For us, keeping this work going means introducing more people to fingerboarding and helping them ride together. As we make products, we also want to grow the community, make room for beginners and help this culture take lasting root in Türkiye. You can follow workshop news, new designs and our gatherings on @wbfingerboards.
A culture we grow together
A workshop that makes
We work to develop our own production, from decks to the smallest component. We experiment, learn and look for ways to take another step forward with every production run.
A community that shares
We come together through events, gatherings, product introductions and rider support. We want our products to be used at meet-ups, reach new people and give us a reason to ride together.
A culture open to the world
Through connections in Türkiye and abroad, we work to bring our local community into international fingerboard culture. We grow by sharing ideas, experiences and the same passion across borders.
